Here at the Old Town Whiskey Bar we are dedicated to providing food that is befitting of the beautiful architectural surroundings of the building. Our extended brunch menu 7 day a week (served concurrently with our lunch menu) is a local favourite!
As part of our lunch menu we feature some Irish favourites such as local fish & chips, 100% Irish Beef Burger, Irish stew etc.
From 5pm onwards each day our dinner menu begins. From Jameson Cured Irish Salmon to our dry aged selection of steaks the emphasis is on the highest quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. Our Steaks are marinated for a minimum of 12 hours in our home blend of rosemary, garlic and olive oil before being flame grilled to order.
All our beef is sourced from our organic butcher – Michael Twomey of Macroom, all our fish is purchased daily from K O’ Connells fishmongers in the English Market. We source our duck fresh from Skenganore West Cork Duck in Ballydehob. We pride ourselves on serving a Cork centric menu to exemplify the quality of ingredients on our door step. Our homemade beer batter for our fish is made with Rising Sons Sunbeam Pilsner – winner of Ireland’s best lager 2016 – brewed 30 meters from our kitchen! All our deserts are made fresh in house.
